By offering Mexican government scholarships for international students, Mexico strengthens its role as an actor with global responsibility and renews its commitment to cooperation programs that help create highly-skilled human capital. The presence in Mexico of international students, academics and scientists helps build permanent bridges of dialogue that enrich the long-term foreign policy agenda through contributions of exceptional value for the country and its partners abroad.

Round trip, economy class airfare ticket for the scholarship recipient only, by the most direct and economical route between Canada and Mexico; transportation within Mexico (the mode of transportation will depend on the distance); tuition and registration fees for the academic program as established by each institution; tuition fees and accommodation for a language course (where eligible) for up to six months or for half the length of the award; monthly living allowance of: MXN 7,479.60 pesos for graduate mobility scholarships and studies and research at the Master’s level OR MXN 9,349.50 pesos for research at the Ph.D. and Postdoctoral level and for medical specializations and sub-specializations; health insurance from the Mexican Social Security Institute starting after three months.
