Ready for a different kind of travel experience? Developing World Connections is a non-profit organization that offers individuals and groups of any age and background the opportunity to help those in need in the developing world through International Volunteer Experiences.
Spend one to four weeks working alongside locals on a sustainable, community-led project in one of 13 countries in Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Our projects are all related to construction of infrastructure projects to help eliminate the causes and effects of poverty. Our volunteers help build schools, medical facilities, and livelihood centres, water projects and agriculture projects. No training or special skills are required. Your program cost includes a substantial donation to the project itself.
We take great care to ensure all volunteers have a safe, fun and rewarding experience. Each volunteer team is accompanied by a trained Team Leader. Team Leaders are experienced travelers and past participants and possess a comprehensive understanding of the volunteers’ needs. Our staff will arrange everything from flights, in-country transport, lodging and meals to project materials and labour. Plus, the entire amount paid through Developing World Connections is deemed a charitable donation which means it is 100% tax deductible. You can also fundraise for your trip and we will issue charitable receipts for your donors.
