Volunteering With India: Volunteer Children India

Are you looking to Volunteer your time for the Children in India. One of our our volunteering program in Jaipur, India offer you to work for the children which are orphan, street kids, runaway or kidnapped by criminal gangs. In India there are large numbers of deprived and underprivileged children always found at the streets in poor conditions. All these kids need a proper shelter and counseling services. Many of them have been sent away from their families or some have left them because due to very difficult life conditions. In everyday life children face problems like child-labor, gender discrimination, homelessness, poverty, lack of health care and abuse by people in society. Children are kidnapped by criminal gangs and forced into prostitution or child labor; some parents left their children on streets because of extreme poverty; many of them consume narcotics. We have a team of 14 members which works 24x7 to search for these children public buses and railway stations, temples, under bridges, next to traffic signals etc.

If you look to part in our volunteer program you will be asked to involved in a activities like teaching them basic English and mathematics, personality development classes. Personality development includes talking about having a positive attitude towards life, self-esteem, manners, speaking and behaving in public etc. You also involved in activities included in art and craft work, such as drawing and henna painting. Health education programs such as the AIDS-awareness program make them be aware of health & hygiene tips and nutrition. Our Center also provide garden facility where children go and play.
