LanguageCorps

LanguageCorps offers comprehensive programmes of training, placement and logistical support for talented people interested in travel, internationalism, and teaching abroad. They provide training combining TESOL certification, local language and cultural immersion, and offer guaranteed placement into paid teaching assignments with select schools.

LanguageCorps applicants must have: * Excellent native-English speaking skills. * A College Degree conferred by an accredited college or university (subject to verification during the application process) – college degree not a requirement for Cambodian or Short-Term Volunteer programs. * A valid and current Passport issued in your name – U.S. citizenship is not a strict requirement. It is recommended that: * Applicants have a genuine interest in living and working in a different country and culture than your own. * Applicants have the flexibility to adapt to new surroundings and new ways of doing things. * Applicants are comfortable being the center of attention and curiosity. * Applicants are a self-reliant, outgoing, charismatic person, who will be able to engage a classroom of eager students – and who enjoys interacting with new people. The deadline for acceptance into LanguageCorps and receipt of deposit is 45 days prior to the start date. Applicants do not need to speak the language of the country they are teaching in~ but they must speak English very well.
